Our Story

Maekido began with a
simple question.

Why do children have so few spaces to experiment freely with ideas?

After years of working in classrooms and education programs, we saw how powerful learning becomes when children are given the freedom to explore, design, and build.

Maekido was created as a place where curiosity leads to creation.

"Every child is born a maker. Our job is to give them the tools, the language, and the confidence to prove it."

She is driven by the belief that legal awareness is the foundation of active citizenship, and that every learning experience has the potential to spark curiosity, confidence, and lasting social impact.
Suchitra
Suchitra
Arts Facilitator · Chitra Kala Sanskriti
Suchitra is an artist, Mandala practitioner, and art educator with over a decade of experience helping students discover their creative voice. Trained in traditional and contemporary forms, she brings a meditative, process-first approach to the classroom — one where the act of making matters as much as the finished piece. Her sessions invite students to slow down, observe closely, and express what words often can't.

Visual Art • Mandala & Meditative Practice • Creative Facilitation

She believes every child is already an artist, and that the role of a teacher is simply to create the space and the confidence for that instinct to surface. For her, art is not a subject to be mastered but a language of patience, attention, and self-discovery that stays with students long after the brush is set down.
