In-School Boot Camp · Robotics & Innovation

Curious minds.
Working machines.

Students explore coding, electronics, engineering, and innovation through hands-on challenges — building, programming, and testing real creations that turn technology into a tool for their own ideas.

The Journey

What your child
actually does.

Five stages, every session hands-on. Tap a stage to explore.

1
Explore the tech around us
Students get hands-on with electronics and circuitry — understanding how the everyday technology around them actually works.
2
Build mechanisms
Mechanism-based builds bring the maker culture to life — students construct moving models from simple day-to-day mechanisms.
3
Code & logic
Programming and logical thinking — a core strength for a tech-driven future, taught through playful coding and an intro to AI.
4
DIY innovation projects
Students think, plan, and work with their hands to design original projects that solve real-world problems.
5
Robot challenge & expo
An intra-school robotics event and project expo — students present their innovations to parents and teachers, live.
For Parents

How this helps
your child.

An innovation mindset
Students stop asking "what does this do?" and start asking "what could I build with it?" — the seed of every future maker and engineer.
Logical thinking
Coding is structured reasoning made visible — students learn to break problems into steps, spot patterns, and build logic that holds up.
Real problem-solving
Most activities are designed to solve real problems — students experiment, debug, and iterate until their creation actually works.
Technical fluency
Hands-on exposure to coding, electronics, robotics and basic AI — the tools of the future, in your child's hands today.
Teamwork & collaboration
Students build in small teams, sharing kits and ideas — learning to solve problems together and bond over what they make.
Creative confidence
Every wacky idea gets built. Watching a concept become a working device gives students a genuine, earned sense of achievement.
Outcomes

They leave
with this.

  • Explore electronics, coding, and engineering concepts
  • Build logical thinking through hands-on innovation challenges
  • Experiment with technology to solve real-world problems
  • Develop teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving skills
  • Present innovation projects at the final showcase

Technology makes the most sense when children create with it. We designed Robotics & Innovation so students don't just use technology — they build it, program it, and bend it toward their own ideas.

The Maekido Pathway

The boot camp is just
the beginning.

01 · In School
Robotics & Innovation Boot Camp
20–25 hrs of deep, hands-on skill-building, ending in a live on-campus showcase.
02 · Aug–Jan
Monthly Open Challenges
A new themed challenge every month, Aug–Jan. Winners are featured, certified — and get a free NEXT pass.
03 · Mid-February
NEXT by Maekido
The Festival of Young Explorers — your child's work on a stage in front of thousands.

Bring Robotics & Innovation
to your school.
